CBB viewers call out Chris Hughes over 'uncomfortable' suggestion to JoJo Siwa (2025)

Celebrity Big Brother viewers have been left feeling 'weirded out' by Chris Hughes after he made a comment about co-star JoJo Siwa during a group task.

The final of Celebrity Big Brother is fast approaching and it's fair to say the show has served up its fair share of dramatic moments.

However, Chris Hughes' unexpected proposal to JoJo Siwa has sparked quite a reaction from viewers who deemed his behaviour "weird."

The duo's friendship has been noticeable to fans for a while, but things escalated when 32-year-old Chris offered to father JoJo's children, prompting a flurry of opinions from fans online.

The incident unfolded during a group task that involved the housemates dressing as cats. Before Chris's surprising offer, JoJo was discussing with Donna Preston her dream of taking her future kids on holiday.

Donna encouraged the YouTube star, saying: "You have to take these holidays, take these dreams, do what you want to do as well."

To which JoJo expressed her desire: "I wanna have babies and take them on holiday."

Adding to the conversation, Donna playfully remarked: "There you go. Pop a couple out, babe. Chris is available."

It was then that Chris heard his name mentioned and enquired about their chat. Once briefed by JoJo about her wish to have children, Chris didn't hesitate to make a bizarre proposal, reports the Mirror.

He remarked: "We'd have babies together. [I'd be just] the dad. I have good swimmers. I had mine checked."

Despite her relationship status, JoJo engaged in the banter, saying she’d tell her future children on how "we decided who the father was."

The light-hearted exchange between the two raised eyebrows among some viewers. Social media comments suggested a mixed response, with one viewer saying: "I've grown to love JoJo and her friendship with chris but some of the things that's happened between them is not normal in a friendship imo."
